Rajma & Vegetable Patties – Crispy, Healthy and Packed with Plant Protein
These homemade Rajma & Vegetable Patties are a healthy alternative to deep-fried snacks. Made with kidney beans, fresh vegetables, and oats instead of refined flour, they’re crispy on the outside, soft on the inside, and incredibly satisfying. Ingredients
- 1 cup boiled rajma
- ½ cup grated carrot
- ¼ cup chopped onion
- ¼ cup oats powder
- 1 tsp grated ginger
- 2 garlic cloves, minced
- ½ tsp cumin powder
- ½ tsp black pepper
- Salt to taste
- Fresh coriander
- 1 tsp olive oil
Method
- Mash the boiled rajma until smooth.
- Add carrot, onion, oats powder, ginger, garlic, coriander, and spices.
- Mix well to form a firm dough.
- Shape into medium-sized patties.
- Heat a non-stick pan with a little oil.
- Cook each patty for 4–5 minutes per side until golden brown.
- Serve with mint yogurt dip or green chutney.
